Archive declares its visuals shall leave a mark
New Jersey Creative Studio Crafts Editorial Photography, Film & Design for Names Unwilling to Blend In
Three divisions — Studio, Store & Plans — now operating at full steam · clients report startling results
NEW JERSEY — It is reported on good authority that the ordinary photograph has met its match. Archive Studios, a creative concern operating out of this State, has for some years pursued a single conviction: that editorial visuals, properly made, should leave a mark upon all who encounter them — and that anything less is a waste of good light.
The studio’s method, witnesses say, is uncommonly direct. Cameras are carried into restaurants, salons, filling stations and streets at unreasonable hours; flash bulbs are discharged without apology; and the resulting pictures are edited with a nerve that has been described, by rivals, as “frankly excessive.”
Asked to comment, the proprietors offered no denial. “Blending in,” one officer of the firm stated plainly, “is a habit we do not keep.” The firm accepts commissions in photography, film and design, and shows no sign of moderating its position. ✶

Our Mission
Founded on a love for visuals that connect, Archive Studios is on a mission to raise the standard of content — and to hand working creatives the very tools with which to do the same. On this point the editors are unanimous.
Our Vision
To help brands and creators go out, create, and leave a mark — not because they must, but because they love making something that lasts. Anything less, this paper holds, is not worth the ink.
